Womens Keen Targhee II Mid Hiking Boots
by Joanie

My experience of using the Keen Targee 2 hiking boots.
The first thing is they were well worth the money. I paid $125 for them only 3 months ago. I have used them on 2 trails so far, with one trip for 3 days and another for 5 days.
I broke these shoes in just by walking the dog a few times and then using them without any foot problems once used them properly. I dont think they needed breaking in really as they are a kind of comfort shoe rather than a solid sort.
Traction has been great with the keen Targee boots. A problem ive had with hiking boots in the past has been whilst walking down hill, my toes start to hurt. However, these were the first boot to have been very good.
These i would rate these boots for comfort, price, although if i was hiking in wetter terain i would choose another boot. Not to say they are not waterproof, just not my first choice if a priority was wet terrain hikes.
