Therm-a-Rest ProLite Air Mattress Is Great

I've owned the Therm-a-Rest ProLite Air Mattress for over two years now and love it. Yes it is more expensive that other models and types but this self inflating air mattress performs great, well worth the extra expediter.


I often go canoe camping and hiking with a backpack, so something compact was needed. I wanted something a bit more comfortable than a foam mattress but could not use a full size Air mattress.

The Them-a-Rest is very comfortable, easy to inflate (self inflating) and durable in comparison to what i have found out about other air mattresses for camping.

The only negative I found was it not being as compact as other sleeping pads but this is not a big enough problem to let it affect how well i sleep on it.


I have had no problems so far after two years and plan to be using it again at the end of spring. I'm not a winter camper, sunshine and heat is the way I try to go.
