Coleman Queen Sized QuickBed
by Deano
(USA)
I bought the Coleman air mattress last spring to use for this summer and wanted to give my view here.
Coleman Air Bed Model: Coleman queen sized quick air bed
Cost: $25 reduced from $30 which I though was a good deal
Where did we use it?
We used it twice at camp grounds and once at home for a friend that came to stay overnight.
How did it perform?
The first two times was great for two of use but the last time it leaked within a couple of hours. The air bed we bough could have just been a faulty one or we might have damaged it on the last camp out. The problem we had if it was punctured is finding the damn puncture, I gave up and binned it.
The Coleman air mattress was cheap which left us expecting some sort of problem with lasting very long.
The first 2 times camping out the air mattress was pretty quick to inflate, the suede was covered with a mattress cover to make it more comfortable, and we had a good nights sleep.
If it was durable I would recommend it, because it eventually deflated I'm unable too. This has been an issue with three air mattresses I have used for camping. I have decided to give camping cots a trial until a company can make a durable air bed.
My advice would be you can take a chance and pick one up that might last for 20 camp outs but its a risk. Just don't expect too much.
