Macpac Tents: I wanted to throw my opinion on a good tent brand in the mix.

Macpac Tent: These tents are waterproof,UV resistant ,durable,lightweight and strong. Structural strength is an outcome of the interaction between the poles, fabric and design.

This tent design is livable in unexpected environmental conditions. There is wide range of tents like tunnel and freestanding types. The Macpac tents poles are strong,rigid and also flexible to withstand high winds.Macpac constant researching and testing makes DAC featherlite poles the best balanced tent poles on the market.

Multi pitch provides pitching options to suit the conditions and makes the tent structurally strong and assists ventilation,beam sealing is also very strong ,the fly fabric is coated with a silicon elastomer on both sides.This makes the fabric stronger.

Our trip was really exciting with couple of friends with backpacks and hiking ,in the trip we used TERRA NOVA TENTS , those tents were are very good as advertised,only that maintenance was quite tough during certain conditions like heavy rain, so i switched to a Macpac tent.
