Unsure of what food to take camping? We have created this camping food list to enable you to arrive at your campsite with all the necessary food for camping.

This camping list will cater for basic camping needs. Each person or group may need to add or remove food dependent on dietary requirements.

For all foods that do not require freezing or refrigeration still check the date your able to keep for consuming (check packaging).

Fresh food to take camping
If taking fresh food please be wary of food poisoning, contamination. Maybe use fresh food the first day then buy locally if possible, as and when needed. If you have a cooler? food for camping can keep fresh for a day or two.

The amount of camping food to take will be dependent on your camping needs. I personally take the above food that is not fresh to make cooking easier. It is easy for a weekend or so to use these foods and more practical.

The important thing is to have your energy foods for the days activities. Using the packaged foods although not the healthiest will save money and will only be for the camp trip.
