Asolo Hiking Boots ReviewAsolo Hiking boots perform well for hikers, including the Asolo TPS 535 and other models. Asolo boots rating very well alongside other high performing boots for Hiking makes them well worth considering. Asolo hiking boots were born in 1975, but since then, the Asolo boot Company, actually known as Asolo SPA, has become a well-known name in technical mountaineering footwear, trekking and hiking boots, as well as outdoor leisure shoes. As inventors of the first lightweight trekking shoe, known as the "Scout" in the 1970's, Asolo boots for hiking have grown in popularity because of fit and performance, along with comfort and lightweight flexibility. The Asolo hiking boot is built rugged for the most treacherous climbing and hiking conditions, including ice or the toughest mixed terrains. No matter what type of walking and hiking conditions you might encounter, Asolo boot and shoe models are made to accommodate it with breathable footwear that offers shock absorption and traction. Recently awarded "the best shoe of the year" in the backpacking category, Asolo hiking boots have combined technologies with design. In fact, the technologies you might expect to find in models of Asolo boots for hiking include Duo Asoflex, Asosorb and Micro Pulley System. But how do these features apply to customer satisfaction in actual reviews? Asolo Hiking Boots ReviewsReview of the Mens Asolo TPS 535 hiking boots:
As one of the newer models of Asolo hiking boots, the Mens Asolo TPS 535 was revealed in Spring of 2010, featuring a water-resistant, full grain upper and a triple power structure, dual density sole. In reviews by verified buyers, there are very few complaints. In fact- they get some of the highest ratings for comfort, fit and water resistance. They were rated excellent by one reviewer that travelled through the rough terrain of Afghanistan and war zones of Iraq, saying no other boot has ever held up like these! About the only complaint, which was minor, is that they tend to hold the dirt, when hiking in dusty conditions, but they clean up well. Other comments include quality leather materials and nice workmanship, easy break-in, nice cushioning and shock-absorption, in addition to support. Reviews are overwhelmingly positive, making these a buy! Overall RatingsReview of the Womens TPS 520 hiking boots:
This Asolo boot features water-resistant, full grain leather uppers, with Gore-Tex performance lining and the triple power structure, dual-density sole. Reviews of verified buyers gave them high marks in keeping your feet dry in rainy and wet conditions, including great traction in the snow. The Women's TPS 520 GV also gets high marks in keeping your feet warm, but they are great trekking boots, offering great ankle support and tough durability. Built for heavy duty wear and comfort, about the only comments to consider is that they run about a half size larger than your normal foot size, but this allows for wearing wool socks, since they are excellent for superior traction in the snow or ice and often worn in winter conditions. They come recommended by the National Outdoor Leadership School for Alaska Backpacking Course, making them a definite buy for those hiking in winter conditions or treacherous mountain areas. Overall RatingsReview of the Mens Fugitive GTX hiking boots:
The Mens Fugitive GTX Asolo boot comes in a variety of colors, but it features Gore-Tex, making it a great water-resistant hiking boot that gets high marks from the customers that own it. In the reviews of verified buyers of the Fugitive GTX, users like the solid construction, great fit, waterproof outer shell and the "A+ traction", breathability and quick-drying durability. About the only comment to be concerned with is that they run a little narrow, not making them ideal for wide feet, but a definite buy for those that have narrow feet that are looking for a great trail boot, that hugs. Overall RatingsReview of the Womens Stynger Asolo hiking boots:
The Womens Stynger GTX boots come in a variety of colors and feature water-resistant suede upper and Gore-Tex lining, offering waterproof, comfort in a light hiking and trekking boot. This Asolo boot is very well made, so they are a little on the heavy side and run a little narrow, and one customer had a problem with construction, but admits they offer good looks and comfort, along with traction. Based on the majority of user reviews, they would be considered a good buy.
