Rounders Rounders is another old school Camping Games For Kids or mixed ages and abilities. You need at least six players per team for a good game but less is no problem. Invite others on the campsite to play this Camping Game For Kids to make up the numbers. Create a 'pitch' made up of a hitting area, where the batsman stands, 1st post, 2nd post, 3rd post and 4th post (which should be at a carefully judged distance apart - think how far each child will be able to comfortably run), and opposite the hitting area you'll need a pitching area where the bowler will throw the ball from. The batting team lines up by the hitting area while the other team chooses a bowler and you need to have a person standing on each post, as well as fielders around the pitch. The fielders for this Camping Game For Kids have to try and catch you out by throwing the ball to the person on the post to which the batsman is trying to run to. If the batsman reaches the post before the ball they are 'safe'. The idea is to try and run all the way around the pitch, past all four posts, before the ball is thrown back to the post or the bowler. If so, you win a rounder.If the batsman reaches a post before the ball is thrown to the person on that post, they are safe and stay there while the bowler prepares to throw the ball to the next batsman in the line. Then the original batsman has to run on to the next posts before the ball is thrown back. The batsman is 'out' if the ball is caught by the person on the post they are trying to run to first. The winning team
is the team which wins the most rounders at the end of the game or the

At the start, all the children form a line about 15 feet away from the stop light. The stop light faces away from the line of kids and says "green light". At this point the kids are allowed to move towards the stoplight. At any point, the stop light may say "red light!" and turn around. If any of the kids are caught moving after this has occurred, they are out of the Camping game. The Camping Game resumes when the stop light turns back around and says "green light". The stop light wins if all the kids are out before anyone is able to touch him/her. Otherwise, the first player to touch the stop light wins the kids camping game and earns the right to be "stop light" for the next game. Fun Camping Games For Kids  Cornhole Games The Cornhole Boards: 1. Should be placed on a flat surface 26 feet apart (front to front). 2. The cornhole board surface should be 2' x 4'. The Cornhole Bags: 1. There should be 8 bags, 4 bags of each color. Consisting of 2 teams. 2. Each bag should be 6 inches by 6 inches and have 1 pound of corn inserted into each cornhole bag. Cornhole Games Play: 1. Two teams of two people, termed partners, shall play. Partners shall stand at opposite cornhole boxes on the same side, from the perspective of a third person, and face each other, so there is no advantage given to one team. 2. Each cornhole team shall have 4 bags of one color. 3. All 8 cornhole bags begin at one end. 4. A coin flip shall determine which cornhole team has honors in round one. 5. One of the partners on the team who has honors shall begin play by throwing a cornhole bag at the opposite cornhole box. 6. A cornhole player may throw from anywhere behind the front of the cornhole box they are throwing from. 7. Cornhole Games continue by alternating throws between the two opponent players until all 8 cornhole bags have been thrown. 8. If a cornhole bag hits the ground then bounces up onto the board, that bag shall be taken off the playing surface. 9. The next round starts when the other cornhole player on the team, which has honors, throws their first cornhole bag. 10. Cornhole Games continue until one team reaches 21 or more points. Cornholes Games (Fouls): 1. A foul occurs when any of the following happens. 2. A cornhole players foot goes past the foot foul line, termed a foot foul. 3. A player goes out of turn. 4. The player who caused the foul loses the throw when the foul occurred and the bag shall be removed if it landed on the playing surface. Cornhole Games-Scoring: 1. The score shall be taken after all cornhole bags have been thrown for a round. 2. Points shall be given as follows. A. 3 points for a cornhole bag that goes through the hole. B. 1 point for a cornhole bag that is on the playing surface. C. 1 point for a cornhole bag that is hanging into the hole. D. 1 point for a cornhole bag that is hanging off the edge but not touching the ground. E. 0 points for a cornhole bag that is on the playing surface, but also touching the ground. F. 0 points for a cornhole bag that is hanging off the front edge and is resting on a cornhole bag that is on the ground (unless the cornhole bag on the ground can be removed without making the hanging bag fall to the ground, then one point is given). 3. The cornhole team with the highest round score, adds the difference of the two scores to their Cornhole Games score. 4. The cornhole team who wins the Kids Camping Games round is given honors to throw first in the next round. 5. If both cornhole teams have the same round score then the cornhole game score stays the same and honors stays with the team who had it the previous round.
